Volunteering is a way to get involved in the running of the charity.

Event Volunteering
 

We are always in need of people to help us to organise and run our events. We welcome anyone who is willing to become involved - whether or not they are members of FOMECP. Typical activities before the event include:

- setting up the event around the park

- selling tickets

- advertising

- procuring prizes

- arranging the traffic management system

- arranging the rota for marshals

On the day, we need people who will:

- sell tickets

- provide information

- manage car parking

- act as marshals around the park

- clear up after the event

Lambert Lodge Volunteering

Lambert Lodge provides an important service to users of the park as a wealth of information is available inside. In addition, the books we sell generate revenue for the charity. If you are interested in volunteering a few hours a week in Lambert Lodge, please contact us to register your details.

Park Volunteering

​

The Park is always on the lookout for people to volunteer for them - whether it's helping the gardeners and rangers, or helping them with the events they put on, or driving the buggies. If you are interested in helping the Park, please contact them directly.
